Meals & Diet Counseling​

A balanced and nutritious meal is essential for maintaining good health in old age. A meal for old age should include foods that are rich in protein, fiber, calcium, vitamin D, and antioxidants. Some examples of such foods are lean meats, eggs, beans, nuts, whole grains, fruits, vegetables, dairy products, and fish. A meal for old age should also avoid foods that are high in salt, sugar, fat, and cholesterol, as they can increase the risk of chronic diseases such as diabetes, heart disease, and hypertension.

Assess the nutritional status and needs of the residents at frailcare using appropriate tools and methods. Develop individualized meal plans and dietary recommendations based on the residents’ preferences, medical conditions, and nutritional goals.

Provide education and counseling to the residents and their families on healthy eating habits, food choices, and dietary modifications

  • Monitor and evaluate the residents’ progress and outcomes and adjust the meal plans and dietary interventions as needed
  • Collaborate with other health care professionals and staff at frailcare to ensure the delivery of high-quality and holistic care
  • Document and report the residents’ nutritional information, interventions, and outcomes in a timely and accurate manner
